The Challenge
IKEA Türkiye planned the opening of its new Antalya store, expecting a very high number of visitors on launch day. The challenge was to ensure safe and smooth guest flow from arrival to entry, manage parking and access routes, and create an engaging in-store experience that reflected IKEA’s welcoming brand spirit.
Our Approach
We delivered full event and operations management for the opening day:
- Designed a comprehensive crowd control and guest flow strategy.
- Planned wayfinding and traffic direction along access routes to the store.
- Managed parking logistics and guest entry points with security and staff coordination.
- Implemented on-site crowd management at store entrances to ensure safety and comfort.
- Curated a day-long entertainment program including live band performances, mascot appearances and children’s activities inside the store.
