The Challenge
The Voyage Waypoint was a week-long builder-focused series of events during DevConnect Istanbul 2023, designed for five different companies. Each day carried the unique identity of its host — from Builder’s Day to W3DC, Consensys, Metamask x Lines, Curta, and Pasaj. The challenge was to deliver six consecutive days of programming in one venue, ensuring seamless transformations for keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking activities.
Our Approach
We managed the project end-to-end, adapting the venue daily to reflect each brand’s vision and program:
- Venue setup and furniture reconfigurations for six different event days
- Branding & printed materials (signage, backdrops, wayfinding)
- Technical production with professional sound systems for panels and workshops
- Catering management with customized menus for each day
- Registration, hospitality, and staff coordination for international participants
- Stage flow and program management including keynotes, panels, workshops, and networking brunches
- Daily logistics: décor transitions, catering resets, and event adaptations
- Security management and controlled access
- Guest registration system and branded gift distribution
- Outcome
The Impact
The Voyage Waypoint created a dynamic hub for the global blockchain community at DevConnect 2023. With the flexibility to redesign the venue each day, five companies were able to showcase their distinct identities while offering international attendees a seamless, high-quality experience. The result was a vibrant mix of thought leadership, hands-on learning, and collaborative networking, celebrated and amplified within the blockchain ecosystem.
